How the assessment works
Before the appointment
You enquire below and we send you our Client Guide and a consent form. With your consent, we request health information from your primary care provider. Once we receive the information, we offer you an appointment with one of our clinicians and send you a booking link.
During the appointment
The appointment takes place by secure video. Your clinician asks about your developmental history, current difficulties and their effect on daily life. Relevant mental health, physical health, medication and other possible contributors will be considered. The appointment includes time to ask questions and add information that you think is important.
After the appointment
You receive a written report outlining a clinical conclusion and recommendations. If ADHD or other diagnosis is confirmed, your clinician will discuss pharmacological treatment options best suited for you, and issue a prescription when relevant. You can choose to continue with your GP at this point, or book a follow-up with us.
Follow-up and ongoing care
Care following your assessment is flexible and designed around your needs.
A follow-up $315 (including GST).
We recommend booking at least one follow up after your assessment. This is most helpful if you have been prescribed a medication. A follow-up will help us to check whether your treatment is working properly, and make necessary adjustments when needed, discuss your progress and answer your questions.
You can book a follow up with us anytime when you need to discuss any challenges or adjust treatment.
If you decide to receive further care from your general practice following the first assessment, you can book a follow-up with us when needed.
